How It Works:
- Facilitated by Gil Polk (and Laura Koppenheffer in New York programs), participants will actively engage in a variety of improv games and exercises, learning in real time while also having fun.
- We use the “Yes, and…” golden rule of improv while helping to build ideas and creativity without shutting down ideas and people.
- Participants practice being "fully present" while listening and paying attention to body language, interactions, words, storytelling, group dynamics and individual behaviors.
- We'll practice thinking on our feet and being ready for anything. Learn to trust intuition, be versatile and dissuade fear-based decisions.
- We practice working across differences and similarities, valuing each person's uniqueness.
- It's a safe space! There are no judgements and no mistakes. We meet people where they are and they learn to do the same for others as we build community.
